Wonderful advice about putting everything on pause, not only for writing, but for most other passionate endeavours. Standing back seeing a scenerio unfold, holding the energy and attention but seeing what else may turn up, knowingly… creatively… perhaps much like, ‘hold that thought’ to savour the sweetness of a fine liqueur. Perhaps I’ll try that with lawn cutting this morning to see what becomes of those creative juices, swish it around a bit before putting the finishing touches on a job well conceived. But it’s also about how life takes some surprising twists when one pauses to capture the nuances of a moment to deciding how wonderful it might be in taking anew, a different step. Love those juices you pass along. Cheers!
